Meet Abby! She is a beautiful #abyssinian mix from the streets of #pomona! Her entire colony was fixed and a wonderful Trapper stepped up to foster her along with her siblings! Her beautiful coat is flecked and in true abyssinian style she had a dark brown dorsal stripe down her back. She is great at traveling, playtime and likes to get under the covers to watch a movie. Another successful street rescue!!! This little guy was trapped at a colony of 40+ cats that one of our volunteers has cleaned up single handedly with the help of 3 neighbors who wanted to make a difference with #tnr! We were able to place him with a wonderful family that loves him dearly.. Including new big brother! At least 80% of all shelter cats come from the streets which is why tnr is so important! Last Wednesdays 2 of 8 kitties my battle buddy and i TNR'd at #fixnation. The between tabby on top was quite the serenade type. He would have conversations with me while I was in my kitchen. The lower female recently had kittens 9 weeks ago and was back in heat already. Mama cats can go into heat so quickly after having a litter!
