Me while learning Catalan :3

(Also what does rentador mean? mouse is apparently “ratolí”, the Spanish word being “ratón”) {I take it in the context it is “rat” instead of “mouse”?)

Also don’t mind me wondering about the word for Racoon.

Parlo català/italiano è un insieme di materiali ideati per capire e imparare il catalano o l’italiano a livello principiante, in modo facile e veloce. È pensato perché gli italiani imparino il catalano e i catalani l’italiano, a partire dal confronto tra le due lingue. I testi e i dialoghi sono stati registrati da persone madrelingua perché gli studenti possano apprezzare la pronuncia della lingua che stanno studiando. Il materiale è composto da 7 unità, in cui le pagine pari contengono il testo in catalano e i commenti (di lessico, di pronuncia, di grammatica o di cultura) in italiano, mentre nelle pagine dispari avviene il contrario: il testo è in italiano e i commenti in catalano.

catalan.words: words, expression and quotes with their English translation.

catalan.word: words in Catalan with a photo of it. They don't tell you the translation but often add hints in English in the image description. (note: it seems to be inactive now)

valen_cia.lu: vocabulary about different topics.

riquesalexica: (intermediate and over) especially talks about regional words and expressions and about sociolinguistics, but they also explain some commonly used words and their etimologies. All the account is in Catalan (no translations) but they often give, in Catalan, the definition of the word.

lletraferint: (advanced) memes and information about correct Catalan. This is run by the youtuber Lletraferint who makes videos about Catalan philology and literature.

xerrem: (advanced) mistakes that some Catalan speakers make because of Spanish influence and what the correct word/expression would be.

clar_i_català: (advanced) common mistakes, many of them done often by native speakers too because of Spanish interference
