Ingredients: 1 lb ground bison meat. 1/4 cup diced onion. 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper. 1/4 cup diced mushrooms. 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 egg. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 burger buns. Lettuce, tomato, and condiments of your choice.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground bison, diced onion, diced red bell pepper, diced mushrooms, shredded cheddar cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix the ingredients until well combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Cook the bison burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned.
