Back bends uncomfortably as the young hero works over his desk.  He can’t remember how long he’s been working but he does know it’s been a long time.  He wishes he could say he’s been very successful but that isn’t entirely true.  He’s made a little progress but he wishes he made more.  Upon hearing the alien’s question, Peter looks up and purses his lips for a moment as he stares, frustrated, at the bottle.  “ It’s new web fluid for my suit. “

Compassion floods the young hero as he sits across from the alien.  Hardship brings people together, he sometimes wishes it doesn’t.  He pauses, lip trapped between teeth as he tries to think of the best method to comfort her.  He doesn’t know how to comfort her, she’s a very closed off individual and his first instinct is to hug but he doubts that’d help.  “ I-I’m really sorry. “

He isn’t accustomed to their ship, it’s odd and the buttons seem to stick more than the Asgardian expected.  Brows bow to form a concerned frown as he looks from control to control.  His eyes shift, back and forth, to observe the state of their spacecraft and the alien who is currently flying the ship.  “ What is this?  I have not seen it before. “

Instantly intelligent mind picks up on that she’s trying to help him feel better.  He feels sick to his stomach, his eyes downcast on his hands as he doesn’t know if he should look up or not.  He pauses, teeth gritting savagely against each other as he thinks of a correct answer.  He isn’t really, he’s not hungry at all.  He feels bad enough for going against Mr. Stark’s orders.  “ No. “

He doesn’t want to look up, the fear of earning a disappointed expression makes his head remain down.  He hadn’t meant to, it was an accident.  The bus was going to quickly and he was in the road.  Tongue glides over dry lips as nerves rumble inside of him.  He doesn’t look up but he owes her an answer.  “ I stopped a bus. “

Nimble fingers make quick work of turning pages of endless book as he stares at his school textbook.  Doe orbs sweep over page after page, his intent on finishing the book as soon as possible.  He pauses, tongue running over dry lips as he sips his water.  He didn’t prompt the alien to say much of anything, in all honesty he didn’t even know she was there until she walked in and began talking.  “ W-What? “

He’s just finished a workout, sweat glistens on his forehead and he wasn’t really paying attention to the conversation.  A mistake on his part, but he pauses as he fills a glass with nice cold water.  He stands in front of the sink, chugging the water as quickly as possible.  When he hears the assassin’s comment he’d been drinking too much.  Spitting his water across the floor he looks up at the assassin’s, eyes wide and coughing horribly.  “ W-What? “

Silence had swept over the whole room as he sat reading out of the textbook as he studied.  Page after page is turned as doe irises run over the words and he’s in his own little world.  He knows some of this already but he wants to be sure that he can perform well on his test.  The question from the alien takes him by surprise and he whips his head up from his book.  “ What?  N-Noho! “
