twilight - blue fender stratocaster, because of course she would have the most basic pick of the whole group, too busy with other stuff to actually ever touch it but she’s had it for years and it would emotionally destroy her to ever admit she’s never going to touch it again and get rid of it

fluttershy - fender jazzmaster, makes excessive use of the rhythm circuit to get the schnastiest shoegazey tones ever along with her way too large pedalboard where she only uses like 3/12 pedals 90% of the time

rarity - paul reed smith private stock, absolutely refused to spare any expense at all when buying it, paid attention to literally nothing but the finish. like twilight she also never touches it but she never intended to in the first place, she purchased it entirely as a statement piece.

applejack - actually struggled with this one, but it would be either a gibson j-45 that has been with her family since long before she was born or some big unwieldy gretsch hollowbody with a bigsby, both obviously used for folk and country type music.

rainbow dash - some pointy ass ibanez, she uses it to play lots of very 80s/90s punk and metal. obviously she runs it through a line6 spider amp on the insane setting

It hasnt been working correct in the 9+ years Ive had it with bouts of intermittence. Sometimes it wouldnt flange only bypass the effect. If it sat for a couple of days it would usually work the next time.

Years ago when I opened it up the first time a couple of cocoons fell out. Otherwise I couldnt see anything wrong on the PCB.

Forward to a couple of weeks and it became evident there was a short in the DC-jack. It was loose and the effect would come on and off. Then it stopped working all together.

I opened it up and remembered I never checked the upper PCB. When I removed it a bunch of dead insects fell out!

Does anyone know what these things are, looks like some type of cicada? I cleaned out all the insect corpses and cleaned the housing and PCBs with IPA.

When I checked the DC-jack I noticed a crack in one of the solder joints, that explains the intermittence. I reflowed all points and while at it also the input jacks. I then put it all together and fired it up. Im happy to say it now works again!"

‧₊˚♪ 𝄞₊˚⊹ As a guitarist, seeing Hongjoong coincidentally with BOTH of some of my dream guitars pisses me AWF. He looks so good with a Ibanez J Custom RG8870. And I want the PRS SE custom 24 quilted so fucking badly. ESPECIALLY the pink one.

It’s so cute. It’s so Hongjoong. I’m going to steal them from him.

Knowing him and Mingi play guitars make me feel things…..
