The LCE and I have been working together tirelessly day after day in an attempt to bring back a fraction of our old friend, Marton. Reviving him would be a violation of a City-wide taboo as well as a violation of his human rights and consent to be alive, yes. However, I have developed a workaround. Many of you have seen my personal homunculus, Theo. He is a pet project of mine, sure, but there's no saying that he cannot be of scientific merit. Using similar methods I have created more homunculi, including one of my dearly departed weed-smoking assistant researcher that will fill a part of the gaping void left in me after his death.
What purpose do these homunculi serve? Well, they increase morale, first and foremost. Many of us, as unprofessional as it sounds, find these things cute, and it improves mental condition around the workplace. They also come with a small brain inside those domes of theirs, so they provide a fraction of contribution in our department meetings. Sure, most of it is nonsense, but it sparks conversation and inspiration nonetheless. Finally, and possibly most impressive of the three at the moment, is...funding for the department. After the raid on our premises, we've been in need of more...creative avenues for fundraising.
So, I'm selling homunculi out of my personal lab. Is this safe? Probably. Purchasing a homunculus waives all responsibility from me, Hohenheim of the LCE, of any damages to non-LCE environments.
If you are interested in a homunculus, see this separate post for further information. I am putting down all remaining homunculi and dissolving their remains into usable stem cells on April 30th, so if you are interested in one I would recommend you buying one before then. If an extension is needed, send me a message and I will consider one if enough demand is met.
