E.G.O. corrosion is not some fun, casual tool of "aura farming" and recreational use. It is a painful and damaging, oftentimes permanent and disabling condition that rids one of control over their own mind and body. I know that the Sinners have been spoiled with the ability to manifest EGO at will, and therefore the ability to corrode strategically with little leftover effect, but for us non-Sinners, there is no coming back from something like that. I have witnessed countless fools succumb to E.G.O. armor just a mere decimal of a level higher than them because their own confidence was higher than their intelligence. It is an unnecessarily damaging and traumatizing experience for all those around them who have grown to know them, watching them slowly become less and less themselves and more Abnormality-like, swallowed by their own hubris-- or even, in some cases, they don't even get an incubation period, they're simply there one day and gone the next. Nobody who wasn't present at Lobotomy Corporation themselves will never know the true weight corrosion holds, and LCB wielding it like a fun party trick certainly isn't helping.
