Now that Lungbarrow by Loomlight is out, let's talk about the extra treat in it you might not have noticed at first. When we were trying to figure out how to make this book's release special, we came up with a lot of ideas (Multiple covers!) like why not play with the format of an AP book itself? Every Arcbeatle Press book has a preview story in the back showing off one of our other series or books. It's a fun tradition we've had that has helped to show readers new stories and worlds. But these stories have always been something already on hand. What if LbL had new story, just for it? The plan became to have a few short vignettes, showing off different series while celebrating the novel. Unfortunately, only one draft came in, which was mine. Thankfully, everyone thought it was good, and decided it should be expanded to a full short story and fill the whole space we'd allotted. The end result is "The Deer and the Raven". It's a brand-new short story that celebrates Lungbarrow by Loomlight, and hopefully adds a bit of an extra punch to a moment in it. So when you finish reading the sequel to Lungbarrow, sit on it a while, and then go read the preview story in the back. Read Lungbarrow by Loomlight. You'll have a good (and wild time).
