Day 33. This poor kid was stuck in a doctor’s office waiting room, against his will. He asked for a paper and pencil. His mom forced him to go ask for it, because as she stated it, “You want it, not me.” Then she turned to another person and complained how kids nowadays can’t do anything for themselves. Also worth noting, after the kid got a paper and pencil, he asked his mom to make him some math problems.

While dining outside at my favorite local pub, I saw a mom of 3 running. 2 on bikes and one in the jogging stroller. I thought wow! I could do that. I was just complaining to a friend about my extra 40lbs and sagging stomach from pregnancy. But then I thought or, you could continue to drink delicious beers and eat hamburgers. Clearly doing both is not an option!
