Yesterday on Pokemon X I was running around from town to town with my in-the-works eevee team trying to hatch an egg. I came to a spot where I couldn't go any further because I had to use surf, but I didn't feel like backtracking to the last pokemon center. I hatched the egg real quick, and it turned out to have a nature I didn't need, so I wonder-traded it until I got a water pokemon, then I taught it surf and got to the next town :)
