5. A scene you enjoyed creating:

I had a lot of fun with my Lydia/Lucanis wyvern comic(? storyboard?), the whole thing but i feel like this moment is where it really Clicked for me <3

6. A scene you struggled with:

The entirety of my Lydia's Name comic, since I really had just this one moment below pictured in my head and No idea where I was going beyond that (though i personally think I was able to pull it together well!)

14. Something new you tried this year:

I think I did a lot more comics and storyboards in general this year! And I think I focused more on "narrative" in my art :3

18. The creation that took the most amount of time:

idk if it was definitely the longest, but i felt like I was working on Lydia's Name comic for one william years 😭

ohh this is also hard! okay these aren't in much of an order it's just a vague thing. also all of this is gonna be dai, da2 is a fantastic game but a lot of this is gonna be based on aesthetics and..... yeah.

5. the shattered library - honestly, pretty much all of the areas in trespasser are amazing, i just had to go with the library bc like....... it's fucking neat idk. runner up would be the crossroads themselves bc that area's also super cool (and the fact it looks prettier if you're an elf! that's neat)

4. the inner fade - basically, all the reasons into the abyss is one of my favorite missions is found in this place. just the pure atmosphere of everything you find in here is so good. also that line where your inquisitor can say "is that it? that doesn't tell me anything! all i know now is that i should have smashed that damn orb when i had the chance!" and divine justinia smiles and says "ah, but even that may help you in the future" solas was fucking SWEATING lmao. headcanoning that my inky actually DID smash that shit on the ground rather than just drop it and then was super confused and lowkey kinda guilty when he noticed solas mourning the loss of it lmao but anyways --

3. temple of mythal - ...like do i even need to say why??

2. frostback basin - even ignoring all the cool ass stuff with the avvar, i loved the town built basically into a cliff with tree houses and all that stuff. it's got a little mix of everything and to me feels like one of the more fantastic parts of the game? idk it's just real nice, i need to play through JoH again

1. the wellspring - okay THIS is the prob one of the most fantastic areas in the entire series; as in, the area that looks the most like fantasy. and ignoring that it's just... breathtaking. i think i might have actually gasped first coming in here. it's insane. the bastion of the pure is also super gorgeous and beautiful but if i had to pick one it'd be the wellspring.

honorable mentions are the hinterlands (idk they're just. nice. it's just a nice starting area), the storm coast (dragon fighting giant NEED I SAY MORE also the vibe is cool), and like....... all of kirkwall. like da2 had a lot of flaws but they did a genuinely amazing job at making kirkwall feel like a CITY which is something a lot of games struggle with, including dai (val royeaux my disappointment). none of the specific areas jump out at me but all together it's really really neat.
