When you have your 3L finals in a month but there's a wedding you gotta slay at 🙆 The reason I've not been posting as much is because of my exams and the amount of info that has to be retained is unimaginable So here are a few tips to deal with all of that exam anxiety so that you may be able to study and perform more productively: 1) Start early Always know how much time you need to cover a particular course and how you may be able to achieve that goal and starting early is always a good idea. 2) study smart not hard Okay so a lot of people just sit in the library and spend hours and just manage to cover half a chapter and that's really a huge waste of time so make a plan and know what to do and what not to do. In any subject you really don't need to know everything there are things you can skip and still score high. 3) knowing a lot of something is better than knowing everything vaguely 4) eat well It gets very hard to eat healthy when you have so much shit to cover but add one meal based on vegetables and legumes(daal etc) which will not only help you focus but help you retain everything better. 5) don't study when you're sleepy If you're really sleepy and can't focus on anything at 3 am in the morning there's a pretty high chance you won't remember Jack sit by the next day so sleep when you need to don't stress yourself out for a test 6) have a stress ball to squeeze when you just can't adult anymore. 7) have loads of water and some dark chocolate 8) if you're having an anxiety attack suck on a lemon and put your bare feet on the floor. Tried and tested. 9) pray or meditate Whatever floats your boat seriously 10) have a hot shower and listen to music In the end just know that it legit is just a test which you can take again. Nothing is more important than your health so please just look after yourself. @fondpaper #lawschoolprobs #anxietydisorder #studygram #anxietyrelief #anxietyquotes #studying #ponder #anxietyattack #fashionstudy #study #picoftheday #love #socialanxiety #contemplation #art #studyabroad #meditation #anxietyhelp #lawschoollife #muse #trouble #anxiety #lawschoolproblems #l4l #biblestudy #studyhard #likeforlikes #lawschoo
5 THINGS TO HELP YOU REMEMBER LEGAL SHIT: 1) make an outline: If you're studying a chapter make an outline of it on one or a few sheets of paper and memorize it that way. This personally helps me because I don't have to stress about rote learning my whole notebook etc so yeah. 2) Use the pomodoro technique: Studies show that your brain will retain more information in 25 minute study sessions as compared to an hour long one. Study for 25 mins take a 5 min break and after every 3 25 minute session you can take a 15 minute break. 3) make flashcards: If you just can't remember that one stupid case or its case name memorize that shit through flashcards. But I only use flashcards if I really need them as making them is time consuming. 4)My weird mantra: Read it ten times Say it ten times Write it two times If you can't remember something or just wanna memorize your short notes follow this. By the end of this you'll have it on your finger tips. 5)Make the bloody case list: Just for your mental sanity make a case list with the principle of every case on the other side so that you don't forget that ish #notstudying #shouldbestudying #l4l #lawschoollife #lawschool #me #studymotivation #like4follow #studying #studyingkills #ishouldbestudying #lawschoolproblems #fun #studyingabroad #lawschoolprobs #summer #studyinghard #likeback #studygram #studyblr #lawblr

“And I can’t let you go. Your handprint’s on my soul. It’s like your eyes are liquor; It’s like your body is gold.” . . . I’m trying to stay calm even though grades come out Friday and I’m about one lost basketball game from shaving my head. #TaylorSwift #EndGame #1L #lawschoolprobs #fightme #glitteraf
I recently purchased all of the school supplies I will need for the upcoming semester. All that is left to buy is my books and metro pass. Writing Utensils I love all things Sharpie related so I stocked up in their 10 color highlighters, 24 color fine tip pens, and black fine tip pens. Just about everything in my life is color coordinated and part of what I like about Sharpie products is the color variety. I have plenty of pencils left over from my undergrad days so there was no need to purchase more of these. Paper My favorite notebook is the Five Star, college ruled, five subject with movable pocket dividers, exterior pen loop, and spiral guard covering the wire spiral part of the notebook. I use the movable pocket dividers as folders for syllabi and other class handouts. I like the fabric spiral guard so that the spiral of my notebook doesn’t get caught on stuff.I was told that I would need a surplus of legal pads of paper and lucky for me, a family member was looking to get rid of a bunch. Planners & To Do Lists My favorite belonging aside from my wedding ring, is my planner. I got it from plumpaper.com which allowed me to make my planner how I wanted it. I like having a monthly calendar, a weekly calendar that breaks each day down by hour, lots of notes pages, and to do list pages. Another thing I love about plumpaper planners is that at the start of each month there is a page with a place for three monthly goals, the month’s birthdays, key events, and things to remember. Electronics After I finished undergrad, I was given the option to purchase my MacBook Air and iPad the school had provided me. I chose to do so because it was such a good deal I couldn’t pass it up. I’ve heard mixed reviews regarding using apple products in law school so fingers crossed everything works out. I recently downloaded all of the apps I will need to get through law school (at least the ones that I know about). To read more http://www.tbilabyrinth.com/2017/06/27/law-school-prep-countdown-55-days/ I decided to utilize the OneDrive associated with my school email #lawschool #lawstudent #lawschoollife #lawschoolbound #lawstudentproblems #lawschoolprobs
