Thoughts on prosecco?
Pretty sure I’ve only had Prosecco as part of a cocktail that was mostly Chambord with some fresh raspberries thrown in there, so when it’s under those circumstances, I would probably like anything.

Have you considered using a voice to text program?
@laughingcatwrites
Yes. Tried it. Was nonsense. I write dialogue. Google Docs transcription has no provision for quotation marks. Bunkum. Also I write at night and it needs to be quiet.
What I really want is to type directly with my brain. I KNOW how it could theoretically happen, but I lack a complex wireless EEG, programming skills, an AI, and an engineer to make it practical.
The theory is pretty simple. Because I can currently type, I could theoretically train an AI to relate brain waves to letters/words/finger motions. It would just need to sync monitoring the data entry with the brain readings. With practice, it should be possible to then train my brain to make the right thoughts without moving my hands. People already use these things to manipulate images, it’s just all very rudimentary, and the subset of “people with hands who know they’re losing function but who are competent, fast typists” to train the earliest systems is probably not well connected to the people who make this kind of shit go from theory to practice.
But get enough data points, and you should be able to start training people to type with their brains instead of training computers to recognize what brains do when they’re typing. Give an AI enough processing power and enough time, and it’s going to be able to start taking shortcuts/predictive text/shorthand.
The implications for the disabled, for the elderly, for people who would prefer to do other things while writing, could be huge. Make it waterproof and people could type in the bathtub without risk of soaking the fragile electronics. Or hell, in the shower, without looking at the screen. (I touch type and can, and have, written rough drafts of parts of stories with my eyes closed.)

Thank you, my internet’s hella slow and takes forever to search things, so direct link is great!
That chapter was amazing!!!! I love how you built up to Petunia's breakdown and how you've roped in Aizawa as babysitter. Poor Petunia, raising Harry will not be easy no matter how sweet of a child he is.
Thanks, I’m glad you liked it! Hehe, nope, raising Harry is not going to be easy at all...

Omg, that series was my teenage life!!!! I adored it and waited for years for the final book to come out before finally accepting that it will probably never happen.
Hey...listen...
Give them a reread? They hold up shockingly well.
And then come talk to me. I experienced a critical fail on my Will save last night and wrote 4K of Night World fic. I’m the only person in this canoe but at least I’m having a nice time.
