Always pretending to enjoy a dull, middle class aspirational life is exhausting. If one was allowed to go mad at least once in a lifetime, to completely succumb to an utter sense of despair... but no, life is all about swallowing your own blood and smiling to reassure everyone that you are, in fact, enjoying your life. It’s ridiculous.
