At one point, subconsciously I felt that being in a relationship would change all my problems: I will start loving myself if somebody else does, I will start working hard and more efficient for a purpose, and I will find meaning in life. Little did I know how wrong I was.

I'm reading Sylvia Plath's diaries in my boyfriend bed, while he quietly sleeps next to me because he has an early lecture tomorrow. If you told me six months ago that this would be me now, I would call it bluff. Trust me, it gets better and life can surprise you at any given point, it usually happens quietly and then one day you realise you're where you always wanted to be and it makes you happy and nostalgic and it gives you the butterflies and it's totally worth it ... don't give up, it does get better.
