Dear World, I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart f⌠Mohammed abu Harb needs your support for Help A Family From Gaza To
Timeless Wells (Flash) Soldier- Chapter 25
Work has continued. He canât seem to fight the smile. Last night was single handedly one of the best nights of his life. You were safe, and finally his. His eyes drift over his desk. Just waiting.
The door to his office opens, and he doesnât even try to hide his grin.
âPunctual as always.â
You raise a brow.
âHow did you know I was coming?â
âIntuition.â
You just fold your arms.
âJust because Iâm no longer working for you it doesnât mean Iâll stop protecting you.â
Harrisonâs grin widens.
âOne could argue that youâre obsessed with me.â
âDonât push it.â
âI would never.â
Heâs still so annoyingly cheerful. He steps closer, leaning down and leaving a kiss on your cheek. Your arms lower slowly.
For a moment you just stare at him. Youâre still not used to the fact that heâs actually yours. That the both of you are really doing this. He looks a little unsure when he takes in your distant look. His hands drop to his side.
âIf I do anything unwanted, then please let me know.â
Maybe the both of you should have laid out ground rules.
This was all still new. The last thing he wanted to do was be too forward and make you question this relationship. Heâs a naturally affectionate person. But youâve never been exposed to it the same. This was uncharted territory.
âNothing you do could ever be unwanted.â
Your statement, topped with the dazed look on your face is his undoing. Harrison takes a breath.
âNoted.â
His voice is a bit unsteady.
You want him to kiss you, you really do. But youâre not quite sure how to approach the topic. Itâs hard to ask. Your experience in relationships has been a bit limited.
What you have with Harrison, itâs special.
âYou..can do whatever feels right.â You encourage.
âYou shouldnât be so vague with your words, I might get the wrong idea.â
It doesnât fully process until you see that look.
âI..I.â
What do you do in this situation? Youâre so inexperienced itâs not even funny. He backs you up, and the back of your knee hits his desk. You reach back a bit clumsily.
âS-Sir!â
âIâve always liked it when you called me sir.â
He says sultrily, and you feel as though your heart is racing a bit too quickly.
âOpen your legs.âÂ
He coaxes.
Youâd completely underestimated this man. You took his cheerfulness as innocence. You nod slowly, obeying willingly. Harrison slips right between your legs, and he slides a few of his items off the desk to make space for you. Lifting you easily, he plants you right there. Now fully seated on the top, he kisses you. You grip at his shirt, welcoming the needy touches, kisses.
Youâre giving off just as much as he is. His hands run down your back, to your waist. You can barely get a single thought out. You start tugging at his jacket in hopes that heâll get the idea. He nods, sliding it off without breaking the kiss.
What makes you both pull apart is the green light that fills the room.
Harrison steps back, and you look down at the green suit that has materialized.
âS-Shit!!â
Youâre thankful that Harrisonâs office isnât transparent for many reasons.
âD-Damn it! Disappear, you dumb suit!!â
You shake your hands in hopes that itâll retract. Harrison gapes.
âYouâre a lantern..â
You laugh awkwardly.
That night you didnât exactly have a chance to go over the whole superpower situation.
âIt happened when Justin attacked. Thereâs a lot more to the story than that. I-I donât know why it just appeared though. It should only come out when Iâm in trouble. Isnât that how it works in the movies?!â
Harrison is chuckling.
âIt's clear you did not learn that much about these powers. The green of your lantern represents your will. Thatâs where the powers come from. In a lot of ways, I suppose it reacts to your emotions.â
That does make more sense.
If thatâs the case then will you have to worry about it popping up whenever youâre excited.
You blush at the revelation.
âThis is embarrassing.â
Harrisonâs smile hasnât left.
âItâs kind of endearing actually. Sexy even.â
The light at the center of your chest glows just a little bit brighter and you groan.
âPlease stop.â
His laughter rings throughout the room.Â

Midsummer Eve by Edward Robert Hughes
How is it that we often believe that falling in love is about holding on, about staying and fighting the demons, it's about trying to fight to be with eachother despite all odds?
Although, more of often than not, love is about letting go, it's like tightly grasping on a rope hanging over a dark depth of which you know nothing about but knowing you have to let yourself go, you have to let yourself fall. It's about trusting that everything will be okay.
Love is about letting eachother go, about letting yourself go, forgiving eachother for the worst of things, love is free.
Love is knowing you can't hold on, love is knowing you have to let go, be free.
