What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

If he can sit focusing on a problem, on studying or a spell, he can sit too still for very long and it is disturbing. if you truly make him sit doing nothing however unfortunately the tail at minimum is going immediately

7. What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

I don't think null enjoys dwelling in nostalgia particularly, but I think talking about his sister especially will bring up stories and nice moments that make him feel a little bit of loss for how things were when he was a kid and it felt like the two of them against the world.

8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child

stop talking telepathically with your sister at the dinner table, stop reading and finish your chores, stop antagonising the other children (but I wasn't--), stop casting cantrips into the oven

13. What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?

Null will always pick charcoal and black and silver, always. Unfortunately he's right and they do suit him, but he could also look nice in a deep teal or emerald.

16. What makes their stomach turn?

blood :) and the looming threat of being swallowed by the false image of him that others perceive :) and memory gaps that feel sugarstickypink :)

22. How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)? 

you would ask this one wouldn't you. for science

I do not think he has ever been truly jealous but I suspect it would manifest in being viciously snipey at the first level of hurt and pulling away and walling himself off in the second. ice cold stone wall while he buries whatever feelings he dared to have :)

28. Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth? 

No. A kind lie would be much, much worse.

34. How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt?

5. How did you choose their name and why? Was it simply based on vibes or is there any specific meaning behind the name? Are the reasons behind their name different in- and out of universe?

Null's name came about in this order exactly: I made him in picrew with the knowledge I wanted him to be a wizard. I decided on abjuration. I went fuck I need a name. I rotated concepts until I found something that felt suitably abjuration-related to give him as a single word name, my beloved, in approximately the same manner as every other nonbinary person picks a name. Then SEVERAL WEEKS LATER I decide it's not his birth name and come up with that uhhhh six days ago looking at the date stamp on my messages. so there we have it.

I think as a wizard a chosen name is common if not expected, and therefore the nominitive comes after the determinism but I do still hope other people just think his mum was like fuck this baby has bad vibes. also he's an excel error <3

8. What is the origin of their personality? And let's be honest - how much of it is projecting?

in the immortal words of brennan lee mulligan, you can't prove any of this is allegory

also as someone who has been playing the party mom for nearly a decade I just wanted to play a little guy who is a bit of a selfish bastard. so I made a wizard with grad school syndrome and hyperfocus on information with no foresight on consequences :) as a treat :)

Wow, 100 followers! Thanks so much to everyone. Since I started the Tumblr earlier this year, I've received tonnes of great feedback and kind words. Seems people are excited about the game, and that only makes me more motivated to carry on posting here :)
