=Azura wasn’t sure what she was looking at. It was certainly Corrin, with her fiery red eyes and that pitch black hair that was hers alone, but the beautiful tresses were gone, hacked off unevenly at the back. It clung to her face strangely, making her look much younger than usual. Still, that was nothing compared to her attire. Corrin always wore expensive, tailored clothing, and even her armor was exquisitely wrought, if worn after so much fighting. But now she was wearing a padded tunic, patched in some places, too large over her arms and shoulders.
“Corrin?! What on Earth...?! Isn’t that Laslow’s armor?! Why are you dressed like that?!”
A sad, pained look came over Corrin’s eyes, looking off in the distance at nothing in particular.
“Because... He’s not here anymore,” she said softly. “I have to play his part now. I owe it to him.”=
