This concept started out with someone pointing out that Alcryst looks like a vampire - pale, red eyes and his base Lord outfit could easily be adapted into one. So I thought a vampire costume would suit Fell Xenologue Alcryst perfectly, given his prideful personality.

But regular Alcryst deserves to join in on the fun too - so I thought a werewolf costume would suit him because of how he befriends a wolf in his support with Alear, and he's associated with the moon since he has Luna as his class skill. I based it on Halloween Grima's costume, but I didn't copy their outfit 1:1 because it's very Robin/Grima coded - that's why it's basically Alcryst's Somniel outfit with extra fur.

While I was working on the werewolf costume's concept, someone else gave me the idea of pairing him with a Red Riding Hood. Turns out Lapis's outfits are a perfect match for that, and they're a cute pairing as well. Her battle convo with FX Alcryst is also pretty good, so that gave me the idea of making Fellcryst try to take her away while Alcryst tries to protect her.
