Ooh i was so close to an existential crisis today because I started the dream thieves and I came to that part where they say there's no word for blue in ancient Greek and I was like 'whaaat no how is that possible?' i’m definitely going crazy. i was taking a german test today where i had to translate a few phrases about asking for directions. so of course my brain had to translate all of them to english and then to russian. (and i speak czech. what the fuck?) it didn’t matter that i needed it in german, my mind couldn’t come up with a single german word. so of course i failed it, fuck you very much my dear brain

my mornings been pretty great so i want to share :D
im finally taking chinese lessons, and this was my first, so it was 2 hours of tones and ‘no its bù not bü or bú’ ;_; but it was good and shes really nice! also my english goes to absolute shit when talking with non-native english speakers :X
then my friend showed me some nice foreign import stores!! so i finally have some western spices and lemon juice and other things for cooking <3 <3 had a good lunch and lots of fun just chatting
but yea im going to chinese everyday for a few hours to learn as much as possible before i start work, so prepare for tonal angst. because i keep saying the 2nd instead of 3rd and 4th turns into nontone >.<
