Language Sample, 2 yrs 11 mo
Dear Little E,
When we first met in August you would only use one word at a time, jargon, gestures, or cry because no one knew what you wanted to say. Your family was worried and you were frustrated a lot of the time. Here is part of your language sample from February:
"Put it down. Turn around! Who is it? Come in, Anna. Anybody home? Big Olaf. It’s a cake happy birthday! Come in here. It up there. Where are you hiding? My turn. Take your shoes. It’s a Hello Kitty. I found you. What’s inside? Is she here? Where is she? You want some? It’s yummy. Oma ice cream. Tea where are you? It’s impossible! All clean. It doesn’t fit! What is in there? It’s a dinosaur rarrrrr! Help push! Fishie come out. Go swimming. I’m all done. The baby penguin. I wash it. Elsa out. Where’s the shoe? It’s okay. I’ll take it. What’s wrong? Wow it’s so pretty. Hide in castle! Elsa in there. Wow so many. Choo choo all aboard!"
I am sooooo proud of you. Thank you for teaching me some words in Korean. And for playing so many cool games with me. I will never forget you! Happy 3rd birthday!!!!!
Love,

It is extremely difficult to focus on anything else
with the language sample due on Wednesday. This assignment has been taking over everything and it isn't even worth that much of our final grade. Stressed doesn't even cover what I feel right now. Cannot wait for this semester to be over, or at least just this week -_-
