yolanda and mel are dear to me
“Please don’t tell me you’re trying to recruit Mel onto this ‘I hate Langdon’ hate train,” Yolanda sighed, speaking to Santos.
The younger doctor shrugged. “I just wanted Mel to know who she was becoming friendly with.”
“It’s unprofessional,” Yolanda stated, looking displeased. “Trust me Trinity, Mel is the last person you should be trying to recruit. Your vendetta against him is a lost cause with her.”
Mel licked her lips. “It’s also nobody’s business,” she added. “I appreciate you looking out for me, I really do,” Mel told Santos, who looked slightly defeated, “but I trust that Dr. Langdon will tell me the truth in his own time.”
“You both have some strange recipients of trust, then,” Santos scoffed, standing. “Whatever, glad you're okay then,” she said before the door shut.
Yolanda patted Mel’s shoulder. “Told you. Come on, ready to get back to work, Dr. King?”
“Frank said I should stay in here for ten minutes.”
“Well, tell Frank that Yoyo said she needs the official Mel King emotional support package.”
“For a procedure?”
“Sure, Mel, for a procedure.”
