Me:

Aussi, c’est un petit problème personnel mais m’amie m’agacer l’autre jour quand j'étais à Paris parce que quelque fois j'étais presque de prendre un photo, soudain, elle a dit “peux-tu prendre ma photo?” et elle a posé cet question QUELQUE FOIS!!! ni un fois ni deux fois mais comme 20+ fois.

Je comprend pas vraiment pourquoi elle peux pas apprécier la Paris sans prendre un photo quelque fois.  

aussi, elle pense que sa française est meilleur que moi mais c’est pas vrai. je sais bien que je fait des erreurs particulièrement  avec la grammaire mais quand je parle le français, JE PARLE LE FRANÇAIS. Tous me comprend et il n’y a pas des problèmes. 

Mais, Quelque fois elle a parlé le français, tous les personnes l’a dit  “non, peux-tu parler l’anglais svp?” 

je ne sais pas et aussi, elle deteste la Belgique et penser que le français en Belgique - n’est pas importante. 

maintenant, 

so i recently looked up the japanese version of “You’re Welcome” from moana on youtube. the lyrics for the main chorus line were:

どういたしまして ユアー ウェルカム dou itashimasite yuā uerukamu ...........................You’re Welcome

Which simply translates to “You’re welcome, you’re welcome”.

it’s finals week and also, my final week here in Belgium. I can say that not only has this experience changed my life but also, helped me improve my French as well. I can no longer just think in English. I switch between French/English daily and switch out with Spanish only when needed (native Spanish speaker). 

As a result of living in Belgium, I have also picked up on a few basic Dutch phrases!

I also made the decision that I will start learning Russian as well, I’ll keep you posted! 

My main concern is integrating back into a majority English speaking state when I’ve been surrounded by French 24/7 (all my roommates are French) and I’m just afraid.

I also feel like I am at home here in Belgium and I made many close friends as well.
