Salish Language with Shirley Trahan (2003) Pt. 1 and 2

I went to subway with my grandma yesterday and met two pretty Indian young women who took my order. Their English was intermediate and they were kind. When I got the register I asked where they were from bc i like to meet different people and was curious about their language, which they were speaking to each other and their other male crew member (could be related). They were delighted and said they spoke Gujarati. Cheerfully the young woman at the register taught me to say hello and I think goodbye. I think I did pretty good because she gave me a thumbs up and a smile! I asked how to say thank you and goodbye and that Id be back speaking some Gujarati with them.

I wanna learn Patois because my regular vendor from the farmers market is Jamaican and so is a lady who sells herbal teas there, so i wanna talk to them in Patois. I just found a nice channel for immersion and listening practice.
