Love Across the Multiverse - Marilance edition
So, although MaskedSecret is my favourite ship involving the Haunted Class ship, Marilance is a close second. Mostly cause it's inspired by the concept of Maribat, but without the usual Miraculous Salt and DC inconsistencies. Anyway, let's start!
(Sidenote: None of these are technically canon. They are more like an AU of an AU)

HEROVERSE: Jance and Marilan
It took a long time for Jance and Marilan to have a significant interaction. They are from different classes, and Jance isn't very friendly.
One day, however, when the school was holding a sword-fighting competition, the two ended up being the two finalists.
They fought for HOURS, to the point where even Siguel (who was Lance's best friend and was doing his best to support him) had fallen asleep while watching.
The result: a tie.
From that moment forward, Jance's competitive nature led him to train so he could defeat Marilan.
As they kept dueling from time to time, their feelings slowly started to change, and then Marilan, noticing Jance was too proud to do it, asked him out.
(Bonus if it's an AU where the Polycule is already together: he and Kagamerida fell in love with similar circumstances of competition, he and Adripunzel fell in love cause Jance saved his ass frequently, and with Luka cause... Idk).
VILLAINVERSE: Marinette De Vil and Lantrix
Just like in Heroverse, it took a while for these two to interact.
It all started when Marinette overheard Lantrix calling her a pathetic villain for having no powers.
The next day, all his glorious mage clothes had a bleach stain on them. It could only mean one thing: war.
Marinette's newest project always seemed to vanish when she was about to finish it, and Lantrix's spells and potions were being sabotaged.
Sadly for the two of them, they ended up being paired together for an assignment.
For the first five hours, they argued nonstop, until Miguel got tired of all that bickering and just said "make out already!"
...
And they did. Next Monday, they were seen together, glued to each other. "A match made in hell," according to Starvelle.
MONSTER/EVERVERSE: Marinette and Lance
To sum it up, Aria had stolen the book of legends with Lovelle, Rob, and Eve, and she ran to Dupont so she could make a spell that would force everyone to follow their pre-determined fates.
Marinette, Adrien, and Kagami caught them, and they were transported to the maze between worlds so as not to interrupt Aria's plans.
Meanwhile, Lance, Miguel, and Claire were trying to get to Dupont through the same maze, but they ended up lost.
(Aria and the bad guys managed to steal Warren's shows for easy transportation, so our good guys trio had to do it the hard way).
Lance, who had grown tired of trying to find the right path, began to expand in size and started looking for an exit. In the process, his shirt was ripped off (his pants didn't, because they are magically enchanted), and Marinette, Adrien, and Kagami were mesmerized by his muscles.
(Skipping the plot of a probably ten-long chapter fic for the future, everyone returned to Dupont, Aria was defeated, and the Book of Legends was destroyed, happy ending for everyone and yey).
After that event, the two schools started to interact more and more often.
And Marinette (who had developed a crush on Lance) started offering her sewing services for whenever his shirt got ripped (and Adrien, Luka, and Kagami tagged along cause they enjoyed the view lol).
And so another relationship started.
DC/TENVERSE: Jestress and Generator Lance
The first time these two met was during a fight. It was just another mission for Generator Lance and his young plumber friends.
However, Jestress proved to be way harder than their usual villains, and Jestress managed to win against Lance.
Lucky Flower managed to access more of her anodyte energy and blasted Jestress and her team off, but, from that day forward, the young plumbers knew that there were more dangerous villains out there.
What none of them expected was that they would meet Jestress again when they joined DC Academy.
Generator Lance tried to fight the bad guys, but Miguel stopped him cause they needed an actual plan this time before trying to do anything.
Marinette and Lance's relationship in this AU is a combination of Batjokes and Batcat. hey fight a lot, but there is always a bit of flirtatiouness on Jestress banter.
... don't expect them to be canon anytime soon.
UNDER/MARVELVERSE: Iron Gal and Lansea
Soon after leaving the underground, the monsters needed a new leader, and since they definitely DIDN'T want to be under the tyrannical control of the Bleu family, they chose Lansea, who was still young but very respected.
Iron Gal and many other heroes really wanted the monsters to get a chance to join M.A.R.V.E.L. Academy as a way to help them reintegrate into the surface society.
Although many monsters were very interested in that (especially Bonwen), Lansea didn't allow that cause he was afraid of his people getting harassed once more.
But Iron Gal didn't give up. She wanted to show the monsters they deserved to be treated with kindness by humanity, and that people with true empathy would actually care about them.
She scheduled many meetings with him and, after a lot of conversation... Lansea gave in.
And so, Monsters started studying at M.A.R.V.E.L. Academy. They actually felt very welcome and comfortable in their new school.
Lansea admired all of Marinette's support for the Monster cause, and that admiration eventually turned into affection.
Like most Human/Monster relationships, their relationship is frowned upon by some, but they don't care.
The End - For Now
