s q u a d • g o a l s Well, I missed out on #nationalrunningday (a while back)...and #nationalpinkday (yesterday)...because, work...but I was able to partake in (our own) national #sportsbrasquad day. Got my squad, aka the #lagendijkcircus, out for some morning coastal miles! One thing's for sure, my coaches are pretty good at keeping me balanced. Sometimes, they make me work hard...and other days, they give me a break. Today was more of the latter, which was probably good, after the last couple runs I've had. Funny thing I noticed though...my last couple solo runs, though at a faster pace, yielded a lower avg heart rate...as compared with the days I travel with the circus, and the opposite is true. Honestly, sometimes I feel like the @bobgearus is less stressful 🤔😆 Anyway, every now and again, I do rep the #badassladygang; however, I can't say I'm all that confident in my doing so. In addition, I can't say I'm all that satisfied with my #mombod either...I mostly just got tired of caring so much. I struggled for a while with my inability to self-correct my #diastasisrecti #mummytummy, and found myself becoming so obsessed with it, that it was a bit depressing. I eventually decided it wasn't worth stressing over and just sort of accepted it. Is it still my work in progress? Yeah, but that may be all it ever is. Kinda been on hiatus the last couple days. My week was changed up a bit, as far as my schedule...but, I was blessed with Sunday off...which allowed me to celebrate my birthday + Mother's Day! So, first things first...I hope all of you out there had an AMAZING day!! I'm still seeing all your awesome Mother's Day photos in my IG feed 😉 As for my day...I spent the day with ALL my boys...who spoiled me with all their creations and gifts! They were SO excited, they ran in, woke me up, and opened them for me 😆 We then had a nice breakfast that we all prepared together 😋 Later, I thought a few miles would be fun...so, we got in 5.14mi - the hubs and I ran, while the boys rode 💙 The day ended with a trip downtown, which was surprisingly mellow, but totally enjoyable! All I can say, is I am a lucky girl! #lagendijkcircus #boymom

Finally working on getting the #lagendijkcircus passports. This involved today's attempt at photos. Hardest thing...getting Evan not to smile. He just couldn't keep a straight face 😆 Ian on the other hand, did his thing...even though the one she used looks a bit smiley too 😏
