Hannibal Holiday gift - What the Wendigo Wears on the Weekend: Wendigo Workwear!

A gift for @riso-not-the-rice this @hannibalholiday!

It’s hard to tell what I could give you that you might want, @riso-not-the-rice - however, you *did* mention that you like the Wendigo.

So I decided to find you a Wendigo outfit to go to all these holiday parties we allegedly fill our time with, according to the press. Then I started to think about Wendigo across the span of her entire weekend.

I ended up making something like one of those magazine articles that follow a woman throughout her day, during which she has a surprising number of outfits on hand and a surprising amount of time to change into them. In that same vein, every item on these pages was available at the time of going to press. (By including these items here, I’m not necessarily endorsing either the product or the seller. Caveat emptor.)

Best of all, each item is “affordable” by glossy-magazine standards. In other words, you could in theory actually buy these if you had loads of money.

As I don’t know what you look like, I have made my best guess at selecting styles that on paper should suit everyone. Where possible I’ve specified retailers that stock a wide range of sizes.

So let’s join Wendigo as her working week is winding down. It’s Friday afternoon, and Wendigo has just finished a lunch meeting with Kade Prurnell, strategizing about ways to preserve orderly means over just ends.

Wendigo keeps her makeup simple for the office. Her staple is $$ LA Splash black liquid lipstick, though it really doesn’t have the staying power everyone says it does. She wishes Maybelline would for once make a 24h lipstick that caters to someone with her skin tone - in this day and age, is that *so* much to ask?!? She appreciates $ Makeup Revolution Ghost Sculpt and her go-to eye look is courtesy of their $ The Dead Are Alive palette (another product that doesn’t do what it claims, though at least it makes her eyes look great), which stays all day with the help of $ Focus & Fix primer. She appreciates the fact that Makeup Revolution’s products are vegan and cruelty free.

#MOTD: Although my boss is cool with my piercings, I’m still on the fence about how she is with “dramatic” makeup. I’ll just inch my way closer to the unusual as I continue working there xD
