Valla here still had other dragonfolk/manakete that weren’t Anankos, with various tribes that trace their ancestry to the Dawn or Dusk dragon. Nari is born as a union between an unknown human and a dragon from the Dawn dragon tribe.

Mikoto does not marry Anankos in this AU, instead she saves baby Nari during one of Anankos’s rampages through Valla. Unwilling to abandon the baby whom no one claimed as their own, Mikoto adopts her instead

Arete and Mikoto still flee from Valla and the usual Corrin childhood of “living briefly in Hoshido before being kidnapped by Garon to be at Nohr” still happens.

Anankos here is not hellbent on killing his child, but has his focus on Azura for being the last remaining descendant of Cadros

Unlike Corrin, Nari does not have childhood amnesia i.e. remembers Silas and the picnic incident clearly and has immense guilt over it. Their reunion is one of the happiest moments in her life.

Her hidden talent is mercenary, Boon/Bane is Deft/Unlucky
