The Best Twitter Tools and Strategies to Help You Make Money on Twitter
Iâm always on the lookout for good resources to share with my readers and customers. Thereâs so much hype in the marketplace that sometimes itâs really hard to know what is legitimate and what is a lot of hype. I prefer to stay away from the hype and simply use solid marketing techniques that will continue to work.
If you are looking for solid marketing techniques to help you build your business, Twitter is just the latest in a series of sites that offers you new and somewhat different ways to market. When I say somewhat different, I mean that itâs a new way to communicate, but it capitalizes on an old technique that has always worked for marketers: building a following for your products or services.
If you are looking for a guide that will help you get started, or youâre an advanced marketer who is looking to get more from your Twitter campaign, this book is a good choice.
First, unlike some books or ebooks you may find on the topic, you get much more comprehensive information on how to create an effective marketing campaign for your business. The information is comprehensive. Although youâll learn how to set up your profile, this book focuses more on how to create effective marketing campaigns and solid marketing information than Joel Commâs âTwitter Powerâ does.
Lacy shows you how to build your âTwitter Tribe.â (This is your following.) Youâll also learn how to do a better job of reaching your customers, as well as providing customer service. You may even decide that you like Twitter so much that youâll want to use it to privately communicate with your business partners and teams.
This book also takes your marketing a step further discussing something a lot of internet marketing books and ebooks just donât discuss much: how to market offline. In this case, youâll learn how to combine offline marketing with Twitter.
This book includes a top ten list of both things you need to be doing on Twitter and a top ten list of things NOT to do. Plenty of tools are sprinkled throughout the book, and youâll want to take advantage of these because most of them are free, but youâll find a nice list at the end of the book that includes all of the essential tools you need to be using now.
What I liked most about this book is that you didnât have to read every word to understand what you needed to do. In fact, I think this book was made to be skimmed as much as read, making it easy for you to get started quickly.
I also liked that he included the tools throughout the book, as you would need them, and you have a wide variety of tools you can use, as well as most of them being free. What made this book more helpful than âTwitter Power,â is that it helped me to focus on my overall marketing strategy, as well as this piece of the puzzle, not just one strategy.
Highly recommended for those who want to integrate Twitter into their marketing plans.
