A Call for Volunteers for the next DaVinciâs Faire & BarCamp!
The next DaVinciâs Faire & BarCamp, April 30th, 2016, is fast approaching and we count on volunteers to help facilitate, organize, promote, run the event, and make the event more awesome each year. Can we count on you? If you have NEVER helped with DaVinciâs Faire & BarCamp, we want you to be there! Helping to organize this annual event is valuable experience for all involved. It is a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet cool people, network with others in our area, and help some of your friends organize a good time for the rest of your friends! Volunteers can also earn sponsorship for their represented organizations worth $250 which includes your organizationâs logo on our website, not to mention a cool âSTAFFâ T-Shirt and our undying gratitude! If you would like to help, here are lists of some of the positions we need filled:   Site Supervisor (planning and day of)   Volunteer Coordinator (planning and day of)   Public Relations   Content Wrangler   Video Mastermind (planning and day of)   Raffle Maestro   Material Engineers (aka Swag Bag Stuffers) Day of volunteer positions (several for each):   Set up   Check-In/Registration   Board Rush/Management   Tech Assistants for Rooms   Videographers   Break down Our schedule for volunteer meetings is as follows: 3/12/2016 â Saturday 2pm-6pm 3/22/2016 â Tuesday 5pm-9pm 4/11/2016 â Monday 5pm-9pm 4/23/2016 â Saturday 2pm-6pm Shoot us an email to [email protected] if you are interested and prepare to bring your laptop and your ideas!
