In relation to my latest reblog man I have some thoughts, but most of all is that I mourn the person I was, I grieve for them.
Since I started my new job (a bit over 6 months ago) I've lost a lot of weight, my body has changed yadda yadda. But, I remain.
I'm the exact same person I was, inside, which is why it kills me now that I have people treating me better just because I "look thinner" than I used to. It kills me that others now seem to believe themselves with the right to tell me what I should or should not eat to "continue with the good streak of losing those extra kilos", and the nuts to say that with a wink.
I grieve over myself, from 6 months ago, when talking to people would end up with a conversation about weight, or food, or exercise. When going to the doctor got no results other than "well x thing is probably caused because of weight :)". I grieve, a lot, everyday, as happy as I am with the way I currently am.
My value is not my weight, my value are not my looks.
