Me thinking about how in TOS episode 16 Shore Leave where everything you wish or think for is granted, when Kirk is fighting Finnegan in the rocks far from everything, Spock suddenly appears there close to the capitain and stay close to him, fighting everyone's dreams with him.
Spock couldn't have run all the way just to join the captain fighting Finnegan, when he clearly said it was his fight and only his.
We see how far the captain ran to catch Finnegan and how exhausted he was after. But then Spock appears in the deserted land, completely fine.
Spock's wish was to be with Kirk.
That's why he was there, that's why he came to the planet even if Kirk told him not to. Because he couldn't stand Jim being stuck there without him. It's the only wish Spock has in mind, and that's what was granted to him.
That's why after they're told it's an amusement park, Spock gently pushes away the woman and says he had the Shore Leave he needed.
He is fine, happy, just to be with Kirk.
