ash wednesday is like columbus day and valentine's day and black friday all rolled into one for the lodger. the sicko loves all that crap. i can't tell if he even knows what ash wednesday is or if he just likes the sound of it. in six weeks the state of georgia will hear his final appeal on the eviction proceedings. then, maybe, this nightmare will be over.

i tried playing music for the lodger, thinking it might somehow relax them, soothe them, or maybe even, appease them. the sound they made in response, i don't know if it was relief or anger, grief or joy. i do know that i never want to hear that sound again. i just hope i haven't made things worse.
