i adore the bit of the 11th doctor doing the double cheek kiss when meeting people in contemporary earth. cause it’s supposed to be about him acting just a little bit more alien because who does that these days?? except i’m italian and that is the platonic polite greeting especially for people you’re not too close with, so it’s just funnier and i always think “the doctor is one of us” or maybe he just spent too much time in italy at some point
