heyo~~ I had to cram in an essay for a midterm today, it was so not fun LOL but I hope your day was great too!

i have read so many hcs that i dont remember which author wrote what LOL or which I personally thought of but i’ll summarize what i remembered:

- his s/o teaching him domestic things b/c he’s lived in a mansion of servants/home workers who did the work for him all his life

- his s/o introducing him to street food and the world of instant food/cooking

- Akashi bringing his s/o to introduce them to his white horse Yukimaru + his hobby of horse-riding

- Akashi teaching (or playing with, if they know how) his s/o shogi, go, and/or international chess

- his s/o finding out that he canonically cannot crack a single joke to save his life and has to spend the next however many hours to explain to him what constitutes “comedy” and meme culture

- Akashi playing concertos + solos on either his violin or piano (s/o’s choice) for them to listen OR do duets together if his s/o knows how to play a musical instrument themselves.... or if they’re a singer and— (SO MANY POSSIBILITIES SOMEONE CAN TAKE WITH THIS.....)

Akashi would’ve been the same “absolute” captain of Rakuzan and it would look like everything is gonna be hopeless, BUT…

It doesn’t change the fact that Seirin still defeated the teams of the other GoMs, and I think that after watching Seirin v. Rakuzan, even if Seirin lost instead, that all the GoMs would be motivated to try to help Kuroko by defeating Rakuzan when they have their own matchups against the school… if that makes sense? So I think regardless with the outcome of the final game, the GoM (excluding Akashi) would be brought together.

I think once Bokukashi sees the GoMs trying their hardest on the courts and being the complete opposite of their Teiko-selves, he’ll start to thaw out a.k.a. re-evaluate his stance on basketball (but not completely). I really do think this man needs an actual defeat (and therapy after tbh) to shake him out of his “absolute” persona.

It depends on who Imayoshi receives the compliments from, but the one thing in common in how he reacts is that he turns this into a way to get a reaction out of them. He knows they want SOME type of reaction out of him when they give compliments, whether it’s a good one, embarrassed one, or irritated. So, he likes to pull the “no you” Uno reverse card in getting back a reaction through various ways: deflecting it to another subject, agreeing with them and complimenting himself really dryly, or complimenting them back in such a way that they don’t know if it’s sarcastic or not.

If it’s from someone he’s close/cares about, they’re not exempt from his irritating quips LOL, and he’ll still do one of the above options at them. But his intentions would be slightly different in which he actually just wants to see them in a state of flusters in good-natured fun. However, when he does do the mentioned options, it’d be slightly different: when he deflects to a different subject, he slightly averts his gaze elsewhere before he returns it back to the person he’s speaking to; when he agrees and compliments himself to goad them, he keeps the self-complimenting to a minimum and a little more vague (“of course I’m intelligent” versus “I know my capacity for knowledge has been blessed by genetics, you don’t have to tell me something I already know~”); when he compliments them back it’s done with a more serious tone but there’s still a hint of sarcasm, but it’s more phrased in a way to show that he’s genuine.
