Derek wasn’t lying when he told you everyone in the house answers to him. It’s a big place, and he has every home worker (either bribed or threatened) who will turn you in if they see you outside of his room. They’re afraid of him, and will do whatever he says to avoid losing their jobs.

Before that, you have to consider that Derek keeps you locked up almost 24/7. Breaking out and sneaking out are almost impossible.

But if you do? He had a tracking device implanted in your arm. He’ll find you again, no matter what.

Ren is not only a sucker for sappy gestures, but he’s also incredibly lonely, and starved for genuine affection. He would love if someone did this for him, and he would grow quickly attached to that person. He would wear it, and sleep with it in his nest whenever he isn’t.

Lawrence- likes the security aspect of the collar, but the issue is he doesn’t trust it enough— he’d be paranoid at work that you’d find a way to dismantle it, or shut off the electrical grid, or break it somehow— he’d rather have a solid way to keep you captive, like cutting off your limbs.

Sano- I think Sano would like that, but he would definitely prefer a less bulky design than Strade’s.

Akira- if he’s going to ‘keep’ someone, it would only be if he’s in a genuine relationship with them, so no.

Vincent- Yes, he loves collars on his MC (just ask Farz) and the electricity is just a fun bonus.

Cain- no, he’d rather keep you with magic. The collar is too amateur for him.

Rire- same with Cain, he just has much better (and more fun) ways of keeping you contained.

Derek- yes, he absolutely would, and he would abuse the power it gives him. Oh, you bled on his carpet? You’re crying too loud? Even breathing too loud? That’s what the shock collar is for! Meaningless punishment!

Celia- Celia would love this concept as well, and would use it as a training tool much like her taser. She also likes how it dehumanizes you in a way.

Well, he likes it because it’s new— it’s rare he finds someone with qualities like that, being so straightforward and honest. It definitely interests him at first. He likes that he’s able to catch MC off guard when it comes to romantic things. He would take great pleasure in flustering them.

However, it can get boring over time. Because of the straightforwardness, there’s less for him to coax out of you with fear, and thus less surprises to keep the relationship interesting long term.

Hello, thank you!! It depends what it is. Generally, he’s more intrigued by your behavior than angry that you broke something— however, he would get understandably upset if you smashed the tv for example.

Not really. If he really wants you, he’s determined either way. It may play a part if he’s just met you, but if he’s kidnapped you then he’s already too invested to change his mind.

For one, he knows cold sores aren’t the same strain of virus as the STD, so he doesn’t care about that. He just won’t kiss you on the lips until it’s gone, no big deal.

Actual STIs might be more annoying, because he doesn’t want to catch them, but he also can’t give up sex completely. Ren doesn’t typically use condoms with a permanent MC (he would in a normal relationship if you asked, but he’s so used to Strade just doing whatever he wanted without any protection) but he would start using them and maybe other protection with you to avoid transmitting anything.

I think technically there are other expensive buildings in the neighboring properties, but Derek’s property is so large you can’t see them from the estate, so they don’t feel like neighbors.
