As first chair in the university’s orchestra you’ve put in countless hours of time and dedication to your craft. With so many people trying to take your place you can’t slip up, even for a minute. So for you, practice time was sacred. You always reserved the same practice room at the same time, and you always showed up on time to practice. So it was much to your chagrin when you arrive at your practice room to find it occupied with the sounds of a piano drifting out from behind the closed door. You huff because that was YOUR practice room which you had scheduled and someone had the audacity to use it. You yank open the door, the piano music abruptly stopping, to see a wide eyed boy looking back at you. “This is my practice room, I’m scheduled to be in here.” You say shortly, holding your violin case up as if that would convince him. You half expect him to roll his eyes or make some sort of rude comment, but he just smiles at you and gets up from the piano bench. “Sorry ‘bout that, next time I’ll make sure to reserve the room.” He says as he passes you on the way out.
The next several weeks every time you come to the practice room you arrive to the gentle notes of a piano playing Mozart’s sonatas. Every time the boy smiles at you and tells you that he’ll reserve the room next time as you kick him out and every time he doesn’t. You begin to suspect he’s doing it on purpose, but you can’t for the life of you figure out why. One particular day after several weeks of the same routine, he says something different as he leaves the practice room, “I’m Kun by the way” He says stopping next to you. You look at him surprised, “Oh…I’m y/n…” You say wondering why he’s introducing himself after weeks of the same thing. But then he winks at you with that completely adorable smile he gives you every day, completely throwing you off from the routine you’re used to, and says, “Well then, I look forward to seeing you tomorrow y/n…same time as always?” A blush has already spread across your cheeks and you struggle to reply so you just nod. Satisfied with your response Kun leaves the class room, a big smile adorning his face. Meanwhile for the first time in years you struggle to start practicing on time, too flustered to even focus on the sheet music in front of you.
