That fem hiccup comic you reblogged, I confused her eyebrows for a kransen for a hot second and now im curious. do you think stoick would make her wear one?
LOLOL! You just had me looking at it again, trying to imagine that.
As for Stoick making fem!Hiccup wear one? I would say Eh? Maybe? I mean this is his little girl left in his care by his Valka... but also I donāt think Valka was all about that kransen business. Unless Stoick recalled Valka wearing one as a girl and wanting Hiccup to wear the same as a girl for his own selfish, emotional needs.
For one, the Kransen was a mark of a woman who had not achieved āmarital statusā (why Astrid is wearing one in the final HTTYD3 scene Iāll never effing know). Iām not sure how traditional or important it was in viking society forĀ āhigher upsā but I can see Femcup wearing one for special occasions as a young girl.
Truthfully, I can see Stoick trying to get Hiccup to wear one, and Hiccup abiding for it for saidĀ āspecial occasionsā but at the end of the day, male or female, Stoick know that raising Hiccup was a veryĀ āchoose your battlesā sort of endeavor. She wonāt wear the kransen for whatever reason? Fine. But she will spend her afternoon on the days she doesnāt wear it in the forge (because if Stoick canāt keep an eye on her, and Gobber canāt keep an eye on her, then that means sheās getting into all sorts of mischief).
