wow it’s 90% humidity right now :’)

happy flying ant day everyone

last year i demoted summer from #2 season to #3 and considered putting it on #4 but i’ll be honest it’s rising back up. the gray skies stretching out, tumultuous storms, looking at the swallows and wilddlowers its all so nice. it makes me pensive and want to take the time to take it all in.

writing down observations from my window has been nice. with things like this i always things 'wow i hope i can keep this up!' and then three days later it's gone but whatever for now it's nice. and i have been thinking about various ways to log my room and surroundings since this is the longest ive lived anywhere aside from my childhood home, and i spend a lot of time here. i feel the urge to preserve it. every once in a while i take some pictures of things like my plants, shelves, pictures on the walls etc. just to be able to compare and see the developtment later. i just think it would be so nice to have like a huge folder on a harddrive with all kinds of documentation from this room and this period of my life with pictures, drawings, logbook entries and maybe scanned postcards and keepsakes
