The heavy blanket felt rough against its bandaged wounds. The new cuts decorated its legs, torso, and even face. The worst pain was felt in its arms though, or at least, where they were.

One was basically shredded to the elbow, not just from the fall, but the tumble down hill. The other wasn’t even there, it had been torn off from the shoulder.

Wuzzo wasn’t too sure how that part happened. Maybe it was from the attempt to reach out for help, or at least pick itself up. Whatever it was, the arm was gone.

“Hey, kid. Ya heard me, right?”

Its eyes weakly moved to stare at its Kramm, who was right beside it. It gently shook its head.

“The ambulance will be here in a few minutes. Don’t pass out on me.”

It nodded its head, feeling grossed out by the feeling of its hair plastered to its face by blood and sweat. So sticky… so gross...

Its dad stood up, looked at the wall a bit, then patted it on the shoulder.
