So I don’t disagree with most of what you said, in this part of the post, but I have Some things I want to say.

Also In many twisted ways the “Haku” Ren family is very noble and honest, which is in beautiful contrast to the “Kou” Ren family. The “Kou” Rens are strewn with disorder, dishonesty, and madness.

I agree that they come off like this, but I also want to point to Vol. 12′s Bonus manga where Judal and Aladdin are playing a game about king vessels (which turns out to be Sinbad’s dream) where Judal shows off all 6 king vessels of Kou, to which Aladdin says “B-but they’re all hot-tempered and glaring at everyone all the time!!!”, This includes Hakuryuu and Hakuei and it’s before edgelord-Hakuryuu. Morally, yes, Hakuei is a great person, but she’s obviously disturbed to some extend. (I don’t blame her) And we all know Hakuryuu is very disturbed too. Lets ignore the whole Civil War thing and how he used Zagan and Belial to place parasites in the brains of his countrymen, he also wanted to kill Morgiana, because she loved someone else/disagreed with him.

As well as his only family member that was there for him. How is this guy considered pure? XD

Also, Kouen and Koumei are following Hakuyuu, Hakuren and Hakutoku’s dream, the way they did before them, so if you condemn Kouen and Koumei, you should condemn the Hakus. Keep in mind the only thing we’ve seen of them has been through Kouen and Hakuryuu’s memories, where of course they’d be pictured as perfect people, just like Kouen and Koumei are to Kouha. 

They also appear in two extra things, one where Hakuyuu teaches Kouen about the people on the other side of the battlefield (after Kouen saved him) and one where Koumei lies to their faces. They may have appeared other times, but those come to mind, and they don’t feel make clear contrasts between the “Kou” brothers and the “Haku” brothers. 

In any normal world he would be an embarrassment to the royal family and Kouen and his family would be ridiculed. Or killed.

King Christian the VII was a mentally ill man, who would masturbate in front of his guests and throw feces, but his son, Frederik the VI, was never looked down upon nor ridiculed. I know it’s not exactly the same, as Koutoku wasn’t the emperor, but Hakutoku clearly had a softspot for his brother, or, at least his nephews and presumably his nieces and would not have let anyone hurt them. On top of that, Kouen and Koumei were well liked by Yuu and Ren. So I doubt that was even considered.

Honestly I’m surprised Koutoku didn’t send people to kill his unwanted children.

Pretty sure the guy was in on the fire thing that happened and even if that wasn’t the case, he had a lot of daughters. Seven. Why would he get rid of daughters he could marry off and receive stronger bonds with the ruler or powerful figure in whatever area. He’d have less use of seven sons in this regard.
