First off, I really liked this. I feel like this group of terrorists has been very interesting from the start. It's kind of ironic that, despite having such a low stakes goal for taking over the tv station, they seem to have the clearest perception of themselves out of all the terrorist groups we've encountered so far. I wonder if somehow their actions here - taking an undesirable tv show ending forced by a corrupt government official and fixing it with the conviction to turn themselves in at the end because they know they are willing to face the consequences for their beliefs - will have wider repercussions within Ostania. Will it inspire people to resist? Their choice to surrender feels significant to me, as well as everyone rooting for them, even the hostages.

I loved this. It didn't cross his mind at all that it was HIS safety that concerned her, because he was so busy worrying about her safety. And, he's not used to being cared for. It's a little trope defying in general. But, it makes sense because at any time Yor could have killed everyone there, and she's been shot before. The only thing they could do that would actually hurt her is to hurt him.

Yuri wanting Loid safe for Yor's sake made me feel a little smug about his characterization in my fic. I think he says something very similar when he's helping Twilight escape. But I also liked that he thought of Chloe in this moment. Parallels. He is growing up and possibly falling in love himself.

I had a feeling when we didn't get a kiss that we would get some Twilight introspection instead! What emotion indeed?

To me, it seems like they are talking about different things. For her, as is usually the case with Yor, she means exactly what she says. It is hard for her to pretend. For Loid, however, playing a part is second nature. What's difficult for him is that he has begun to suspect that he's not playing a part at all.
