I have been sick all week, and all i want to do is sleep in. The bean however is always at the edge of my bed if i stay in bed a second past my usual wake up time. I’ll send her back to her bed and tell her to lay down she will with a huff then when i roll over she’ll start barking purposefully not stepping off her bed.

Guess who’s digging holes again. And she’s funny too, i had been working on something when she did this, turned around and saw her. Yelled at her. She stopped looked at me, looked back at the hole, looked at me again. Then started digging faster, the butt. Thankfully i have topsoil left over from last year.

She needs help getting her elderly lab out of her car. Whatever normal shit, no big deal right? She comes back in with the lab and goes back out to get her other two dogs while I’m going over the beans meds and post anesthesia things. I’m paying her almost no attention just enough to know where other dogs are.

The bean isnt dog aggressive but she gets a little nervous around dogs she doesn’t know plus she’s already high strung from the day so I’m trying to mind everything to make this as easy for her as possible. Now i normally walk the bean on a harness with a front attachment because while she’s well behaved she is 85lbs and was really good at slipping her collar as a pup (has yet to slip her current collar).

So we head out passing a small well behaved chihuahua, the bean tucked behind me as we passed. Out the door we run into the woman from before with two 100+ lb cane corsos.

Now I’m not one to stereotype breeds, however i am of the belief that certain people shouldn’t own certain breeds or dogs in general. This woman couldn’t even lift her old lab out of the car. These two corsos are on flat collars, and when they see the bean they flip.

This woman almost hits the ground as both dogs lunge at us snapping and snarling. The bean tries to bolt, i hold her frim putting myself between her and them. Move towards the nearest row of cars.

This wonan loses her shit, screaming and cursing at her dogs. These are direct quotes. “Why won’t you fucking behave?” “You need to behave!” Bitch they don’t behave because you haven’t trained them to. I’ll admit the beans training isn’t perfect she chases the cats and gets overexcited when she sees people. But i know this, i prepare for this, I’m trying to train her out of it. You can’t just expect them to do what you want.

I get to my car get the bean loaded up she’s shaking like a leaf all the while this woman is still screaming at her poor dogs and yelling apologies to me. I don’t need an apology, i need you to be a bit more aware of your dogs and your surroundings. I had a dog and people aggressive dog before the bean, i was hyper aware of everything around us, especially going to the vet where you should be expecting other dogs.

I hope that little chihuahua was ok. The entire ride home i was just thinking what would’ve happened had they gotten loose. It would’ve been ugly and I’d probably be in the er. Sorry for venting I’m just angry.
