I keep thinking about how different dialogue you hear from Eudico vs. Konzu when you talk to them for the first time after completing the New War.

Konzu, since he is one of the Ostrons, is used to freedom. You can see how lively is the Cetus, children running around, how the whole marketplace is busy, and such.

While Eudico is from Fortuna, where every day is a nightmare, they have to fight to survive, go into unpayable debts just to live. Kids are nowhere to be seen, because they're hiding away. People of Fortuna are literally getting kidnapped by Corpus.
