Well.. that's a wrap folks! I can't believe it's almost been two whole years of Somnium! Thank you so much to anyone who's read along and gotten as attached to my guys as much as I have. I had no idea where I was going or what I was getting into when I started this, and what a beast it turned into!! Over 790 scenes 😱 I've had more fun than I could've imagined and although this is the end of Somnium, it's not the end of Oscar n' co. and certainly not the end of my storytelling ventures! But I'll ramble about my future plans in another post I think... Big kisses and hugs to you all on this momentous occasion ahaaakjsdkjd! 🤗🧡

Chief Commissioner Ford was arrested earlier today following reports of his involvement with several high-profile gang members. Rumours first began circulating after a damning article was featured in the San Myshuno Gazette just before the holidays; Ford blasted the piece as hearsay at the time, disregarding it as a desperate publicity stunt from a declining publication. Deputy Commissioner Gomez declined a press conference at this time, though we’re told an investigation is already under way.

It’s thought that among other unscrupulous activities, Ford may be implicated in the cover up of an underground trafficking ring. In his annual statement last year, he appeared adamant that dismantling and disrupting organised crime was a key priority of his for the city and surrounding areas.

Bruno: I doubt it’ll be long ‘til we’re summoned; they won’t want anyone turning on them as a get out. Ivan: Man.. I don’t wanna deal with Artie anymore, my nerves can’t take it. Mack: The lad’s right, you should ignore him.

Bruno: I hate to admit it, but he does have a point. Oscar: I know, I was gonna suggest as much myself… I even wondered if we oughta bother Brynn, maybe ask her to say something. Bruno: I don’t think we’ll need to bother her.

Ivan: Christ almighty-.. if Wyatt knows, we’re well n’ truly fuck-… Mack: Put a sock in it, lad. Ivan: [groans]

Oscar: So, Darien’s in on it too? Bruno: Yeah. We don’t have much time; they’ve reported Lucie’s to the IRS. Oscar: For what, money laundering?

Bruno: Tax evasion too, no doubt. Mack: [tuts] Bastards. Oscar: Fucking hell. That’s gonna open up a huge can of worms, isn’t it?

Bruno: Yup. Ivan: Isn’t Darien landin’ himself in it, doin’ that? Bruno: He’s too smart for that. I’m willing to bet they plan on leaving as soon as shit goes south.

Ivan: Hasn’t it already? Bruno: To an extent… Oscar: Sounds like he’s doing this for himself, not us; he’ll probably want to see as much chaos as possible before he fucks off.

Bruno: Pretty much. Ivan: Why do y’trust him? Bruno: I don’t, I fucking hate him; but I’ve known him for a long time, he’s not fucking around.

Kobe: I really don’t think you should be stayin’ there no more, Leah. Alea: [scoffs] Kobe: Kian ain’t ever gonna turn himself, his pa, or anyone else in; no matter what you do.

Alea: Y’never know. Kobe: You had t’lie just t’get out for a couple hours, don’t you see how fucked up that is? Alea: Well aware, don’t care.

Kobe: You should’ve skipped town by now, all of you. Alea: It doesn’t make a difference, Kobe.. you’d still be lookin’ over your shoulder 24/7, wouldn’t you? That ain’t exactly freedom. Kobe: You’d be safe with ‘em behind bars though.

Alea: Bruno! You better have pants on, ‘cause I’m comin’ in... Bruno: I want my key back. Alea: No deal. Get up! We’re goin’ to Mack’s.

Bruno: I don’t want to. Alea: I’ll drag you if I have to. Bruno: I’d like to see you try. Alea: Please? Just for a few hours. Bruno: [groans] Alea: Takin’ that as compliance.

Alea: Don’t look at me like that, none of this was my doin’. Mack: Keep telling yourself that. Alea: I can’t do anythin’-... Mack: You could, you just choose not to. Alea: I’m tryin’ to help. Mack: If you wanted to help, then you shouldn’t have given up.

Alea: Go away, Kobe. Kobe: C’mon, don’t be like that. Alea: [scoffs]

Kobe: Don’t take what Pa says t’heart. He’s just worried about Bruno. Alea: He’s right though. Kobe: Well-...

Alea: No, he is. Kobe: Okay, and? Alea: And? He doesn’t fuckin’ understand.

Kobe: I think he does. Alea: So, that’s what he wants? If I risked it, if I went back n’ somehow didn‘t get murdered... It ain’t just them I’d potentially be turnin’ in; it’d be everyone, including Bruno. Kobe: Even behind bars, you’d be freer than you are now. Both of you. Alea: I thought that I could-.. he doesn’t see how fucked up everythin’ is. Kobe: Kian?

Alea: [nods] Kobe: I reckon he’s not worth-.. hey, don’t cry. Y’know I don’t know what to do when folk cry. Alea: [cries]

Bruno: Your only cousin.

Bruno: Ivan, this is Kobe. If you have anything hot to get rid of, he’s your man.
