Yesterday I went to visit my grandma with my mom. She suffers from Alzheimer's, doesn't want to go outside most days.. but when I ask her if we should get some icecream at Nelis she starts to smile and wants to come with me. Before she got diagnosed we went there about once a week and she hasn't forget about it (Nelis has the best icecream, it's so so good 😍). I haven't much to update on at the moment. I spoke to my nephrologist on the phone last Thursday and he wanted me to go to the hospital right away to make an ultrasound of my leg, because it's still red, swollen, tender and warm to touch. He wasn't to happy the orthopedic surgeon didn't do an ultrasound already. He said you've managed to get a PE while using anticoagulants so why wouldn't you have a DVT instead of an infection that's causing this. Luckily it came back clear, but he extended my antibiotics for another week to hopefully help clear this infection.
