B O S C O

I find sometimes in the search of looking for amazing alternative R&B, sometimes the melody gets lost. B O S C O does an incredible job of ensuring that you don't forget the composition of her records by including repetitive chord progressions and lyrics that resonate. Check out the record "Slippin'" by the Atlanta native. She's apparently moved to New York and is in for a magical ride this year musically. Don't sleep on B O S C O.

If you've been sleeping for the past year or so, you probably haven't had the pleasure of hearing the infectious vocals of Tiffany Gouché. You'll probably be extremely surprised. It's been awhile since we've had to pleasure of hearing vocals as buttery as Lauryn Hill neatly straddling the jazz-infused records she carefully selected from Iman Omari's vault of beats. Don't get it twisted though. Tiffany is a producer as well and can stand tall with the rest of them. Tiffany, a long-time contributor with music aficionado Iman Omari, recorded her project "Fantasy" and it's not one to sleep on. A powerfully strong release with minimal mainstream support has lifted her numbers past 300K independently. Take notice. With the assistance of Iman Omari who seems to be building & lending his talents much more to others lately (See Javonte,) this seems to be a no-brainer. Don't sleep on Tiffany.

Nao (pronounced Na-Yo) is a songstress from London, England. I came across her music one day through a friend and was stunned. The music is a beautiful marriage of Nao's 90's vocal stylings laced over tracks by A.K. Paul, Abhi//Dijon. So, if you're not aware of the sounds of Jai Paul or his brother A.K. Paul, they both have created a sound that borders on movie soundtracking with infectious drum patterns. I definitely think that Nao is one to keep your eye on. Her music is ALWAYS hit. They know.
