This isn't the best photo, but it is a photo! I've got a lot going on in terms of starting work, and I wanted to post something! I've finished the heel and the gusset and am not onto the foot.

I am very much enjoying this yarn. The colorway is working up so nicely. The yarn is smooth and easy to work with. The pattern could use some adjustments, but it's definitely something that I would make again.

We are officially finished with the gusset and moving on to the foot! I'm hoping to finish this sock and start another one before the month is over, but of course, I'll continue my regular sock knitting.

And it's finished! I really do love the way this sock came out! There are a few things that I think I would change if I made this sock again. It's a little too long on the leg for my liking, but the pattern was so easy to follow, and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Hey everyone! I experienced some computer issues, and a few posts that I thought I had posted didn't actually post. It's a little frustrating, but at least now I can give you an update on the sock. It's been finished for a few days now.

I'm going to wash and block the three socks I made and make a post about the experience of this fundraiser soon.

I have finished the heel flap and am now working on the gusset! The two socks are a little lumpy as they haven't been blocked yet, but I'm loving the way this is coming out. The pattern shows well through the variegated yarn, and the yarn is so easy to work with.

This is two days' worth of knitting! In my last post, I really wanted to showcase the yarn and discuss why it was made, which didn't leave much room to show the actual sock I'm working on.

I'm absolutely loving this yarn! It's a really nice colorway that's subtle enough that you can see the lace pattern, but also intricate enough to give it some interest. It's smooth and easy to work with. I haven't had any snags when I've gone to pull out a few stitches I've done wrong.

In terms of the pattern, it's actually a lot simpler than it looks. The twisted rib at the top is such a delicate touch that makes such a difference. I don't usually do a twisted rib, but in the colorway, it absolutely shines!

The second sock has started! I'm honestly really excited to finish and wear these socks. Since I've got this under my belt, I'm sure this sock will knit up a lot quicker than the first. Maybe I'll even be able to make a third sock before the end of the month.

This June, I'll be joining the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in a Knitting Fundraiser. Back in 2018, I was diagnosed with Leukemia, and it's thanks to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society that I was able to get life-saving treatment.

In honor of this fundraiser, I'll be taking on various orange-themed knitting projects. Leukemia is the most common cancer in children and teens, accounting for nearly 30% of childhood cancers. It is estimated that nearly 62,000 cases of leukemia will be diagnosed each year. Each time I share this post again, I'll share it with the project I'm working on.
