1) Offence

The Knight of Doom would be able to use their aspect as a weapon in order to protect others or to protect their aspect. When using it to fight, their enemy would find themselves to be very unfortunate and unlucky, often making silly mistakes that would eventually lead to their doom. Also, as doom is often related to fate it’s possible that a fight against a Knight of Doom is one that will be fated to occur a certain way. If the Knight is destined to win, then their enemy doesn't stand a chance.

2) Defence

Having to protect doom seems like quite a gloomy prospect, making sure those who are supposed to die meet their fate and keep others alive to that they can face their fated deaths eventually. While it is indeed a dirty job, somebody has to do it as a Knights duties are of vital importance in any session.

3) Genesis frog

It seems unlikely that having a Knight of Doom around when your space player is creating the genesis frog is a good idea as helping the session succeed would rarely come under ‘protecting doom’. However it’s not always the case, perhaps in a session the Genesis frog should never be born so that the players leave their session and on to greater things.

1) Protecting aspect

The Knight of Hope could protect hope perhaps by keeping the Genesis Frog safe, as the Knight class is expected to assist the space player with the breeding duties. This would mean they’re protecting the session hope for success as without a Genesis Frog a session is doomed. The Knight could also protect a certain player who may eventually cause the session to be a success.

2) Protecting with aspect

This could mean keeping the group’s morale high and helping sad players stay cheerful, or it could mean giving the team hope somehow, perhaps by rescuing them when all seems lost. The Knight of Hope would definitely be one of the classes that come bursting in out of nowhere ready to perform a heroic rescue.

3) Using aspect as a weapon

We’ve already seen that Hope can be physically manifested to deal damage, so the Knight would likely be able to enhance their weapon with this essence of hope in order to increase their damage. You could also take this figuratively and say that they use their sway over hope to help their allies be prepared for battle.

Works poorly with: Princes and Bards of Doom and Hope, Thief of Light

1) Offence

The Knight of Light would be an extremely clever and lucky adversary. Using their naturally high levels of luck, they could win fights that would be impossible for someone else of their level and their inherent knowledge of protection would translate to a fighter who knows where to hit hard to maximise their damage.

2) Defence

The deep ingrained knowledge of protection would be bestowed upon the Knight as if they were born to be the sentinel of the team. Protecting their allies would be much easier as lady luck has her eye upon these players, granting almost impossible feats of heroism and skill to them. If anyone ever needed a miraculous rescue, you can bet the Knight of Light would arrive just in time to play the hero.

3) Genesis frog

With such a lucky player protecting the frog and its breeder, the ultimate alchemy would go along quite smoothly. Being gifted with inborn knowledge would mean that they could assist the breeder if they were having trouble breeding the frog as well as just protecting and helping them catch frogs.
