Knight of Doom
1) Offence
The Knight of Doom would be able to use their aspect as a weapon in order to protect others or to protect their aspect. When using it to fight, their enemy would find themselves to be very unfortunate and unlucky, often making silly mistakes that would eventually lead to their doom. Also, as doom is often related to fate it’s possible that a fight against a Knight of Doom is one that will be fated to occur a certain way. If the Knight is destined to win, then their enemy doesn't stand a chance.
2) Defence
Having to protect doom seems like quite a gloomy prospect, making sure those who are supposed to die meet their fate and keep others alive to that they can face their fated deaths eventually. While it is indeed a dirty job, somebody has to do it as a Knights duties are of vital importance in any session.
3) Genesis frog
It seems unlikely that having a Knight of Doom around when your space player is creating the genesis frog is a good idea as helping the session succeed would rarely come under ‘protecting doom’. However it’s not always the case, perhaps in a session the Genesis frog should never be born so that the players leave their session and on to greater things.
Works well with: Thieves of Light and Luck, Seer of Doom, Prince of Life
Works poorly with: Breath and Life players

Sylph of Doom
1) Healing Doom
Particularly useful in a session with a time player who is either particularly bad at time travel or does a lot of it. The Sylph could assist in removing doomed timelines, ‘healing’ the doom that caused them thus preventing them from happening. Also, the Sylph of Doom would have at least some control over how doomed a person actually is. For example, if someone was doomed to die horrifically, perhaps the Sylph could use their powers so that they die less horridly, perhaps even in the highest levels of god tier they could prevent the doom entirely with their abilities.
2) Healing with Doom
At first this skill makes little sense, however it’s possible this skill would work in a similar way to the Bard of Dooms powers but always having a good outcome instead of the Bards risky nature. A session may have already become doomed, however if there was any chance of fixing the session the Sylph would find it and do whatever it took to heal it. This ability could also mean removing players who would cause doomed sessions, either by killing them or stopping them from doing the actions that lead to a doomed session.
3) Helping others cope with doom
Sometimes people are simply destined to die and it would be the Sylphs job to help the doomed people accept their fates and pass on easily. The Sylph would likely act as a sort of therapist (like many other Sylphs do) to the doomed, offering support and kind words to help them cope with their fate.
Works well with: Seer of Time, Knight of Life, Prince of Doom
Works poorly with: Bard of Life, Prince of Light

Bard of Doom
1) Invite destruction through aspect
The Bard of Doom can cause the downfall of others through their actions and choices. However those afflicted by this doom could be friend or foe, meaning the Bard has great potential, whether for good or ill. If the Bard was to sabotage their allies’ plans to defeat the Black King by killing another player, (whether this was knowingly or not) then they could doom the rest of their allies into losing the fight and dying. Conversely, if the Bard was to set in to motion a chain of events that lead to the Black Kings defeat, then he would have caused destruction through doom.
2) Allow destruction of aspect
This is where having a Bard of Doom could be extremely useful. This could result in doom being destroyed for the player’s allies, meaning they could cheat death or bring about the success of a seemingly null session. Unfortunately this works both ways however, and the Bard could end up destroying their opponents doom, meaning the team would have no chance to defeat them.
3) Offence
Both the Bard and Prince classes have been shown capable of weaponising their aspect to great effect. This could manifest in the Bard as being able to materialise doom (much like a certain Prince of Hope uses his white science) and harm others with its concentrated form. However, with a Bard these powers would be very risky and it would be better to use them when there’s no risk of harming any of their allies, such as when they fight alone.
Despite seeming like a class that is destined to cause despair, the Bard of Doom has equal potential to bring about the improbable success of their session, or its catastrophic failure.
Works well with: Sylph of Rage, Witch of Heart, Knight of Life
Works poorly with: Bard of Life, Thief of Light, Prince of Hope

Prince of Doom
1) Destroying with doom
This particular ability could manifest in a variety of ways. Perhaps doom has a ‘physical’ form like hope, and can be harnessed to deal damage to others, a Prince would be particularly devastating with this ability. This trait could also lead to the doom of others through the actions of the Prince, for example: The Prince loses it and kills the player who was fated to bring about the sessions success, therefore destroying the chances of winning the session and dooming everyone.
2) Destroying doom
The Prince of Doom may seem like an awful class but if the Prince is careful and does things right, they could be one of the most important players in any session. They could literally destroy doom by killing player X who was going to kill player Y, destroying the doom that was about to befall player Y. This application of the Prince’s class would work better if there was a Seer (or perhaps Mage of Doom) to guide them and make sure they don’t cause doom instead of destroying it. The Prince of Doom could single handily save a doomed session and bring about its success.
There’s not much to say about this class as it can only really work two ways: extremely well or terribly. Definitely a strong offensive player but they need to constantly careful or else any mistake could doom everyone.
Works well with: Any Seer, Mage of Doom, Sylph of Doom
Works poorly with: Bard of Doom, Bard of Rage
~ Michael
Seer of Doom
1) Understanding
Being able to understand and notice the subtle little actions that would bring about a doomed session is the domain of the Seer of Doom. For example, Person X, a Space player, thinks that he should make himself something to eat before checking on the half-bred Genesis frog, however the frogs current evolutionary stage cannot survive long and needs to be bred again quickly. The frog then dies, leading to a failed session. The Seer would be aware of this small, seemingly innocent action and would have the chance to prevent it from occurring.
2) Predicting
What would happen if our Bard turned on us? Would we survive? Or would it be game over for us? Using their abilities, a Seer could accurately predict the outcome of any turn of events that would lead to ‘doom’ or death. They could also avoid their own deaths by having strange, subconscious feelings towards something they are about to do, potentially saving their lives.
3) Combat
A Seer naturally makes an excellent battle strategist and tactician, and when enhanced by the doom aspect they would be able to predict any actions that could prove fatal, both for their team members and their enemies. They would know what attacks to block, when to counter, who to target first and where to hit the hardest.
The Seer of Doom is an excellent passive class that would be a boon to any session, bringing the invaluable skill of avoiding death and finding their enemies weak spots to the team.
Works well with: Mage of Doom, Sylph of Life, Maid of Light
Works poorly with: Thief of Life, Rouge of Doom, Bard of Doom
